Development Update
Few months have passed from the moment the texts for the site were ready to the opening of the site. Let us tell you what we made during the period:
The game world has expanded:
- Part of Bakersfield (intersection of SR99 with SR58) along SR99 was built.
- Merced (SR99) virtually complete
- Greenfield (US101) model ready
- Mohave (intersection SR58 with SR14) model ready
- Temecula (I15) model ready.
- Segments of highways US101, I5, I10, I15 connecting Oxnard, Los Angeles, San Clemente, San Diego and Temecula ready.
- Los Angeles expanded substantially along US101, I10, I5.
- San Francisco is virtually complete. Model of the part of it along I80 is ready, downtown, Treasure Island, Bay Bridge, between San Francisco and Oakland - all built.
New physics for semitrailers for tractors introduced, both for the live player cotrolled and for NPC controlled. The control is easier and the results look more realistic.
The list of semitrailers (vehicles) updated. Among them are platforms (flatbeds), lowboys, tanks, refrigerators, and car haulers.
Several character models (characters) designed. Among them are "secretary", "barman", "policeman". Animation sequences for several game world objects created: bar, motel, warehouse, and gas station.
